lower air dam / valance

The air dam on the passenger side is cracked and part is missing and it looks like crap. Is there a reason to keep it or repair it? Can I just remove it. It scrapes on everything anyway. Would it hurt gas mileage if it's gone?

it does supposedly make the gas mileage better. but you can also take it off.

I'm thinking I should repair it. I'll look at it closer and post some pics.

mines cut off all the way along the bottom. it was like that when i got it. i actually didn't know tere was supposed to be one, until i bought a new fender liner and it had a small edge of it. then i noticed where it was cut off all along.

which btw might help your question. if its all on the side which is part of the finder liner bottom, just get a new fender liner. when i got my new one it was like $30 is all.

well someone has a brain and is correct, but there is also a piece call radiator lower air deflector, which is in the middle, the fender liners are in 2 pieces, so you will have to order the front half of the fender liner
which is held in with 10mm bolts and clips, removal is so easy a monkey can do it

I checked gmpartsdirect.com and couldn't identify the outer part. Any idea what the P/N is? It's been too wet here to take pics but it's sunny out now. When I get home I'll take some.
