LOL. MY alero's i picked up the license plate bracket for $10 at a junk yard, im going to try to make it flat.

heres todays progress, before work.

and some gauges i ordered from e-bay last night.

still a few more steps, sanding, bondoing, the prime and paint then i'll mount a new license plate light on it and the plate, its just looks.

I was thinking of doing something similiar. But I would have the plate angled and frenched in, then above the plate have a small opening the width of the plate. Then I was going to put in a little LED strip for the plate light. Maybe a lil thought for ya

quoted for truth. my sub kept blowing mine out and i got pulled over twice in 3 days. fixed it the day after the first time, blew out again the next day, didnt go out at night, due to being unaware.. then got pulled over the next day

i might fiberglass,bondo a raise into it it. or just buy a chrome one if i find a good looking one. its going to be a satin-flat black.

i'd personally still leave the top indented about 1/4 inch just so you can mount a flat led strip hidden for the light.

too late now. i might put an ass load if Infared lights pointing straight back to block the new cameras on our local po-po cars, just to see if i get pulled over becouse the camera won't read my plate.

don't have a welder, it shouldn't as long as i do it all right. im not going to put any money twords this just the peice and what i have laying around, plus the paint.

I agree on the cracking. I think I remember bdyman saying that fiberglass does not adhere to plastic.
