Yeah it's a pretty good site. I like that stage 2 cam, and heads.
One member did a 3400/3500 set-up. The 3500 heads and mani should bolt up. I think you could bore out the block to 3500 specs, but I don't know if you'll have to get new pistons

go check out the last few pages of a thread called pistons on grandamgt.com a few members there appear to have 3.7 bored and stroked 3400's, not sure what it cost them and im sure its super involved. Sorry to sound like a rooster but in this case if you have to ask im not sure that it will be the way for you to go. Having a shop do this kind of work might be close to 10k and its not worth it for an alero motor. go but a 1st gen talon tsi for 2k and drop the other 8k into its motor that will end up being a sub 12 sec car. good luck though.

I'm the one that started the pistons thread on grand am gt.
as for worth it or not
well my car is balls to the wall and it will be faster than 12's by quite a bit
anyway if you want to buld the bottom end or do internals let me know
I've done heads, cams, intakes, bored out engines, my own stroker, boost builds and all motor builds.
putting the all motor engine together this weekend
my boosted stroker has been a long time coming but it will be insane when its done
