Anyone ever try anything from these guys?

I did a long time ago with an '86 Toyota 4x4. I didn't dyno it, but it definitely helped my bottom end power, milage, and pulling torque.

It was a reasonably priced upgrade if I recall.... I think it cost about $300CDN back then.

We had one on the S10 and it sucked, didn't change anything, even milage or starting. In fact its still sitting in my garage, NOT WORKING. We threw an MSD on there and no problems. Even starts a bit better and gets about 1.5 miles to the gallon better milage.

IMO I would never install a Jacobs again, MSD is the way to go.

They must have really went downhill then. This was a long time ago when I purchased mine, almost 10 years ago.

Keep in mind that is just my experience with one unit sicne using 4 MSDs Im kinda biased since none of them had a problem, whereas the 1 Jacobs broke w/o a reason. I think we installed that about 4-5 years ago.

MSD is the best imo. go with the one that has the best reputation. that would be MSD.

A friend of mine had a Jacob's installed on his 240sx. At first, helped, but after a while, it started making his engine miss. We took the Jacob's off and had no problem after that.

After hearing all these stories, I don't think I'm ever going back to Jacobs. MSD it is then! :P
