I found this site before but was looking at it last night.

They have a set of cams and a set of rockers. The cams are 200 and the rockers are 150.

Take a look, it's a little bit down the page

From what Ive heard those are not true performance cams for the 3400. They are stock specs.

^^^ and cost?

About who much HP do cams add. Somebody told me they add about 10 HP per cylinder, but even with the roller rockers I seriously doubt that.

I read that cams add about 28 HP at the wheels (32 at the crank) and the rockers with with the cams add about another 5 to 10. Is this true?

depends on how aggressive the grind is. Anyone know what is expected from comp? Also remember, more aggressive grind = more power = less streetability

Comp has more experience with pushrod engines than anybody... I'm sure they'll make a great grind that gives good power without sacrificing low-end response and streetability..

We're looking at late summer 2004 right now for the release of 1 or more cam grinds from Comp Cams. Expect the price to be around $300US.

Sorry to get off topic, but at what point is a car no longer "streetable"? When it cant pass emissions or something?

'Streetable' is a subjective term. If you create a cam grind to give your engine more top-end horsepower, you lose low-end engine response and torque, and your idle gets rough and if it's bad enough it can sometimes stall at a stoplight or something. Thus, when you're just crusing around the street, at low engine RPMs (for the most part), your engine no longer runs that well because it's using a cam that was designed for much higher RPMs (like when racing). This means the engine has lost some of its "streetability".

Bang-on! lol
Basicly when you have to 2-foot it to keep it runing at a stop light.. or if you let your gf drive and she stalls it every 2 minutes then your looking at a non streetable grind...lol.. like my G/A B)
