Hey all...

I want to add a front strut tower brace to my '01. I've checked out SLP and APOC and neither have one listed (but Google search have Alero owner descriptions mention these names)

I see that Mantapart has one...but I've read posts that they are dicey to deal with.

Who else makes a front STB? I found another one that looks like you have to adjust the length. Not sure I like that idea as it could loosen over time and not provide the rigidity desired.

Any personal recommendations based on what you've installed?

Thanks!
Grant

Use the banner at the top, please. I thought that John said he still had a few SLP braces left at APOC, but they (SLP) quit making them. You might want to pm him or email APOC through the site.

I've got the SLP ones, and they are simple and effective (and beefy)

I run front and rear 3 piece STB's from PFYC, they dont come loose and work very well. and very easy to disconnect one side and move the brace out of the way to work on the backside of the motor.
