I just wanted to get a list of maybe the top ten fastest aleros on this site. As in posting your slips at the track or dyno results.

:wah: I dont even make the list (2.2L ecotec with nothing modded in terms of performance)
Edit: just bein a smartass here, frankly I have decided its not worth the money for any big performance parts, save that for something better down the road (cough 05 mustang GT cough)

sorry, i got bored of typing out the list.
It's not that hard to figure out. The ppl who sunk in the most money into the engine have the fastest cars.

Um I've beaten stock 3.4 with only a CAI and catback exhaust. So I guess the 2.4 with CAI can exhaust would be like 4 1/2

One of my friends said it best, its not necessarily how fast your car is, but how well you drive it..... (meaning if I have a basic 2.2L and you have a basic 3400... if I know how to race better than you, good chance I can beat you)

God, why do you guys always go and jack up the threads, I wanted real statistics and numbers.
Sweetalero99, no poop i'm not on the list, i don't know why you said that. I just wanted to see who had what and how much power it made for them. ex. different s/c kits, custom turbo kits, Nitrous or N/A. Just trying to get a glimpse of the high numbers and see if any of their setups are different.
Is that so hard?

I think this might be a bad time of year for this thread considering the weather really hasnt broken for most of us yet...yet alone have many tracks opened up yet... give this thread maybe a month and a half and then hopefully people will have had a chance to recently gotten to the track....

Yeah, after everyone posted last years numbers.
I was #2 my fastest was a 14.7 quarter.
And i have added some engine mods and a better nitrous kit, so i expect to be in the lower 14's this year

i believe it would go
1. springs
2. sc/alero
3. ski
4. fuller
and that depends on any new mods people have done. both john and i are at 14.6's at 5280ft so not sure where that would put us down at sea levels

well, in all honesty, this is a LAME THREAD TOPIC. Everyone is going to think their car is faster than someone elses. No one jacked it, we are trying to figure it out.

I'm not gonna start a flame war over the internet. This thread may have been started a few weeks to early but thats all.
Heres what i see.
Username------------------------ Times------------------------------
Springs Fastest Alero- S/C NOS
S/C Alero- S/C
Nguyen- turbo'd
Skiboarder- N/A
mFuller- N/A
probably forgot a few, but i wanted to compare the track times from the s/c, turbo and n/a.

Everyones times are going to be different because both Springs and S/CAlero are at 3/4 mile of elevation. The only way to really determine who has the fastest aleros would to be to get them all together with the same track conditions. That's it. Plus I don't even know if Nguyen has ever timed his... but if his turbo is working, he would be close to the s/c'd guys. Homegrown is also S/C'd.

I got the European computer so I think that will make me faster than most of you!
Otherwise it's a stock 3400.
