fastest slip to date
July 18 2003
pmi in pueblo
4900 feet above sea level

rt: .369 (000 being perfict)
60': 2.409
330: 6.328
1/8: 9.524
mph: 77.99
1000: 12.273
1/4: 14.620
mph: 95.25

this was with 260 whp and 262wtq (sea level corrected power)

now running 272 whp and 299.4 wtq on my nitrous
given good traction the car will be quite a bit faster

time slips will be up as soon as the track opens for the season

It's true i've never ran at the tracks with my last turbo setup, but when i'm done in a couple weeks, not to be roostery and all, i should be #1, i hope at least.
The difference will be a built motor on 20 pounds of boost, but we'll just have to wait and see, i told you Springs i'm gunning for you!

20 lbs is doable with a good setup. if it is anything like kara's setup he will be #1.

This is all good but time slips will have to be a requirement.

I don't know where I'd be on the list don't have headers but have my manifold P&P, upper and lower. #3 1/2?

With Altitude Correction factors figured in, Springs's quickest time slip is actually a corrected 13.733 seconds @ 101.413 (approximately)! Not too shabby.

It must be torture launching a 3000+lb FWD car with an aftermarket clutch and 300+HP

Mike Karas dyno'd somewhere around 350-360HP with a full exhaust system on his 2.4 and I believe something like 23-25lbs of boost... still damn impressive, and he has a .020 overbored TwinCam with a good P&P job, "secret cams", an H.O. intake manifold and a TEC2 system for full control over engine tuning... still only had a log-style manifold though which can hurt performance especially at those boost levels...

If you arent faster, then go buy some 108 octane race gas and turn the boost up to 30psi
Make the TwinCam guys proud :P

Everyones times are going to be different because both Springs and S/CAlero are at 3/4 mile of elevation. The only way to really determine who has the fastest aleros would to be to get them all together with the same track conditions. That's it. Plus I don't even know if Nguyen has ever timed his... but if his turbo is working, he would be close to the s/c'd guys. Homegrown is also S/C'd.
springs and SC/alero are closer to a full mile plus :P
