Need help locating a couple wires

Hey guys,

New to the N body world here, I'm installing a pioneer nav unit in my wifes alero and I need some help finding the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Wire and the location of the ebrake wires, I figure thier under the bach of the console but is there a way to get at them without taking out the console ?

Thanks a bunch for helping a N body newbie

Wire colors would be awesome too

I'm not sure about the alero. The other cars I have worked on had the speed wire located under the hood in the fuse box. A wire had too be ran into the hehicle and to the HU. Just be sure to follow the directions perfectly. If you splice the wire in the wrong location it will not work and possibly fail the sensor.

The only place to get a speed signal on the Alero is from the PCM, On a 3400 Alero (2004), the VSS input is on connector C1 pins 64 and 65. The VSS output to the Cruise Control module, is connector C1 pin 55 (this is probably the one you need). I can double check it for your particular year/model/engine too.
