Dual Exhaust Set Up Question

i know a few people around here are running a dual set up with the stock bumper. i was wondering if anyone encountered any problems with the finish like cracking or flaking, when they cut the the hole for the passenger side tips

nah, works fine without cutting. and doesnt really look like it should be cut. the factory cut is really subtle to begin with.

I had mine done at a body shop. They took a cutout from anthoer GM car and molded into mine. Then they repainted it :thumbsup:

^^^ Yea Reddogs is the 'right' way to do it, deffinatly the cleanist look. Mine is cut, but no molded in insert. I deffinatly reccomend cutting the bumper. If you dont, Im sorry...but it just looks half-assed. It's very easy to do. It's plastic, it can be cut and dremmeld. (just measure, and make a template) And the paint should not crack or flake when you are done.

unless you have the skills/tools/materials to do it yourself, its not worth what you'd pay to have it done. especially if you plan on getting a kit (as i do) then it's a waste of time/money to do the stock bumper.
