Engine Noise level with installing a CAI?(curious what other people have to say

Basically it went from being quiet to very noticeable with installing a CAI I even took the filter off for about a day to see if their was a change but it stayed the same.

X2. Take the insulation off the underside of your hood and then you will really have an engine under there... No joke

The only problem with removing the underhood pad is that the hood is not painted under it

hmmmm.....So take off the insulation and hit it up with high heat?...How good is it to just take of the insulation and leave it at that?

Certainly inspired me. I know she already has a nice roar at 3500 -4500 rpm, when I get a CAI, I may just take out the padding as well.
