3400 tensioner

Hey All,

I was doing the AC in my car and saw a funky shaped kinda round-triangle thing directly under the alternator. That's not the tensioner right ? I was under the impression it's a lot further down.

Tensioner is on passanger side of motor, very bottom towards fire wall.

Here''s a great picture of it you can see the weird shaped tensioner under the alt. I thought it was a lot lower than that.

yes its right under the alternator in the second pic
