Secondary air injection system code

I think its code P410 or somthing like that reading secondary air injection system...does that simply mean i need a new air pump relay? becuase I i did hear a loudass pop when I started it a couple does ago and has been running like a champ so I havent worried much but im just curious becuase im getting tired of seeing my damn service engine soon light

Also forgot the light was on before the pop but that was the only COde found so yea

you'll have to check if it was the pump or just the check valve. Air Check Valves are common though... its probably just the valve that needs replacing if your lucky. Too bad you have to deal with that crap....all it does is inject air at vehicle start to get the cat to ignite sooner, it's a California Emission thing

Check fuses first . Iv seen valves go bad, pumps go bad, water get in and freeze pumps. Not hard to diagnose with the proper scan tool. What's the code with all four letters?

Mine was a sensor or valve on the fuel pump assembly. I just replaced everything in the tank. It wasn't very expensive even with GM parts.

na its the fuse and also what smokes almost smells likes its antifreeze but my antifreeze level is normal and the temp gauge stays between half and the first quarter coming from behind the engine on the drivers side

Weel the white smoke was one of the fittings on the coolant line every time you rev up it squirted coolant ...but that is now fixed Now tomorrow hopefully get my Super 44 installed
