STP or LUCAS

so far ive only used STP oil enhancer and it livend up the old truck and have been using it to top off the alero

got told lucas was so thick it didnt drain well just wondring your opinions since lucas has so much media support
be kinda cool to see a poll of this

Yup, mostly an oil additives will just make your oil thicker. If your oil is too thick, it wont get in between the piston and the walls, thus will lead you to a lack of lubrication. If your engine is good, you shouldnt need that. If it isnt good, all additives are, are bandainds for your true problem. Just keep up with your routine meinteneance, and you should be fine.

Lucas, anything i put in my engin is eather Lucas or Valvoline.

i thought you used seafoam too, but ive only used Castrol GTX adn the STP enhancer, i did use that Qtec Hosepower Ferrari Synthetic SHIT once, sucked, do not use!

shhhh, dont go tellin people my secreat. lol. I know a guy who used to rebuild engines, and he did a comparason with engines that used diffrent oils, Valvoline ended up being the cleanest. But i have used it befor I knew about that, and as a bonus its made in the us.

neither, use seafoam as directed. put it in the oil and drive it for 1 day, then change the oil. i know it does help doing it this way, at least it did my my street bike so prob a car too.
