Engine Temp in Deg. F?

Alrighty, Haynes is telling me that 2.2L is supposed to run at 180 deg. F. However, after it running for 20 minutes, I'm sitting at a steady 142 deg. F. Anyone know something I should?

Those do seem a bit low. If it was winter I'd just say your fan isn't working properly but it's probably not that cold right now.

Maybe it's a bad sensor?

My 2.2 sits steady at the half way mark on the gauge. I have no idea what the temp is, since its only marked in C and H. Even with the A/C on on a hot day, thats where it hangs out.

Normally mine sits 2 widths of the needle below center on the normal ones... if only we knew what the range was on that stock meter...
