my 2.4 idles at around 500 rpm when it's warmed up.

The computer controls the idle. If it idles to low, take it back to the dealer. There may be a bad sensor or something.

it's an ecotec. it usually idles at 750; but when i turn on my a/c or just the fan it drops to 500 then it goes back up to just under 750.

thats normal dude........... and espically wiht a 4 banger........ when u turn on hte ac its gonna drop ur idle.

Mine idles at 1250 when cold and they drops to 700 or 800 after warmed up, ever since I had the manifold done

yea dude thats sooo normal..lol
When i turn my fan on my engine bogs a lil bit, and with my exhaust (flowmaster) u can hear the computer accually gives it more throttle

It doesn't give it more throttle, it increases IAC (Idle Air Control) counts. That is kinda like openning the throttle plate, but at the same time not even close.

Oh yeah. Mine does that also. Mine also drops way down when I trun the wheel while trying to park. I guess its normal for these motors.
