can i paint my dash and doors; not the trim. if so how do i do it?

Yes, Yes, need how to on how to paint dash. (stinkin neons messed my dash up and had to cut it up to get the crap cleared off)

vents/plastic trim: sand, light primer, then a few light coats of your choice of spray paint, then a couple light coats of clear coat. No specific brands really.

vinyl/leather: wait for Silent's write-up on it. :thumbsup:

Apparently the paint silent used isn't guaranteed to not crack up on the leather dash areas. A dye would be best.

*shakes his head* why on earth would you paint VINYL. go out and buy some replacement vinyl at a fabric store and do it the RIGHT way.

^^^agree, I have a friend that is totally redoing his interior hisself with vinyl he bought from Joann's. So far, it looks good.
