Yeah my tires max at 44 PSI. I'm not sure its the road because it happens everywhere. Maybe its just the tires.

My summer tires max at 51. I probably run them at about 41 on average.

yeah i usually run mine at about 34-36 seeing that they aren't rated for high pressure. i've seen people who run 40 in passenger cars have their tires wear way faster in the center than the sides.

I don't have that problem on the Alero or the Beretta. If I run them at the manufacturer recommended pressure, I'd probably wear the side walls.

The STS wears the center of the tires like CRAZY if they're too high.

yea you can't go by the manufacturer spec unless it has the same tires as it had stock. most tires are different from other types of tyres, if you have smarts it'll be easy to figure out what is best for the exact brand soeone is running.
