Pellinore is an unknown quantity at this point
Just wondering if anyone has got GM to replace their broken foglights. Both of mine are cracked and leak so the bulb goes all the time. My service manager says no but i have not talked to GM directly(don't think they will say yes).

They won't replace them unless you can prove: 1) it is a manufacturing defect, and 2) you didn't ever hit or scrape your front end...EVER.

I talked to them today and they will not do it. Like you said it had to be a manufacturing defect. They are poorly designed but that doesn't count. I fixed one up with crazy glue and is air tight now. Also put dielectric grease on the bulb. Hopefully this fix will last awhile.
