A Vin for the find

Im looking for the vin # of the vehicle that has the High output engine. I want to order the idi cover that says High output Quad 4 from GMpartsdirect.com and they say they need the vin#. Or does someone happen to have the part #. They also believe it wont fit my engine

I want to buy this
from GMpartdirect.com, they said they need the vin# for some odd reason. Unless someone knows the part number I can avoid all this and the hassle of them not wanting to sell it becomes they fear it wont fit my engine. I do have the 2.4 but just want the 2.3 HIGH OUTPUT IDI cover. I counldt find one in the junkyards just the ones that said QUAD 4 only. Hopefully I can get it through them as new

He wants to get parts for a different car and he needs a VIN for a car that had those parts originally.

Kinda how like a acquired a VIN from an Aurora to get my centercaps for my wheels.

Oh, and that VIN is for a 93 Grand Am GT.
