Anyone who's recolored their interior: what did you use to recolor the weatherstripping around the doors? I'm talking about the tan part of the rubber (as circled in the pics below)

Any suggestions to what to use?

its soft and flexible so you need something with a flexagent most likely.

no paint will hold up, cuz if u take it out of the car, dye it then put it back in.. theres only so much flex paint/dye can take before it'll peel or crack off.

I'd say just go look for some grey ones or darkcolor ones. I believe the GA has dark grey weatherstriping.

believe me.. my white and blue interior stands out with the tan weatherstriping. But i learned to live with it.

hmm.. i thought about just using the paint/dye Im using for the vynil stuff since it's pretty damn flexible, I just wasn't sure. I thought it might be ok, since the tan part never moves. I thought about also.. if I take it off then I have to put it back on, lol, and it don't just clip in place, lol.

what about leather dye? if you can dye the tan stuff black or a color that matches the interior, I think you'd be set.
