on 2doors it sucks, fold the back seats down, pull the little plastic pins out. unsnap the vynal molded areas around where the seal belt straps go in, than push the rear deck up and pull it out, its a pain, getting it in is worse. in the trunk their are 2 or 3 clips and a lever deal holding each speaker in, you can see how it works, unclip it than the speaker should be able to come out, have fun!

It is a pain, but I never thought it was that bad. It took me abuot ten minutes to change out the 6x9. Just be very carefull when you pull off the trim around the radio. I broke on of the posts that hold the clips. There are three on each trim piece. One at the top, midle and bottom. The bottom one is kind of toward the midle. If you do break one, I suggest plastic weld from autozone. The stuff is increadible.

Well i did it and it was very easy. I got the old speakers out and the new ones in, in about 15 mins. and both of them wire up to an amp in less then an hour. This was a lot easier then it sound to be.

it is pretty easy. just pry off the speaker grills and then unclip the speakers. it's that easy.

it actually depends on the year, because i know the 99's have little clips on the speaker grills that just unclip and clip togther like nothing, and on my year (2002) the speaker grills were bolts in by plastic stud looking things..................i broke em anyways and just epoxy'd them back.
