Common Problems

I am looking at a 2001 with the 2.4 auto and was wondering if there was any common problems? Like I know on the V6 there is the lower intake manifold gasket, but never heard anything about the 2.4 so thought I would ask. Thanks guys.

at around 50-100k... the water pump, dependant on the maintanence upkeep of the car, can possibly puke... it doesn't happen as much on the newer motors as it did on older ones......

intake cleaner is a good idea for the car once you get it......

keep the car well oiled w/ good clean stuff and it will love you for it... if you don't keep the car well lubed it will make you pay the penalty.
