Ok heres the deal at 68k miles, 3.4 v6 2000 GLS. I had to have the ac compressor replaced at like 45k, water pump last week, and I have the lower intake mainfold gasket problem along with another unknow coolant leak at this time. Also, I have the dash that has come unglued, looks like its undressing its self.
So i'm shopping around for another car. Not sure if my decision is final or not yet but looking for something no more than 20k. Would rather stay around the 15k price range. Looking for something sporty, what I like is the 06 G35 and the TL but being I will be starting GRAD school in the fall, I dont want to get into that price range just yet.
So help me out with some suggestions, thanks in advance.

Yea that would. Looked at the Mazda 6, to many compliants about it. As of now, its down to the Scion tC, and the Accord. All comments are welcomed.

go for the tc, they look unique and are more interesting than a boring old accord.

Neon SRT4. I just started at Chrysler, I need some job security. :) And it's a hella fast little car.

Cobalt SS....2.4 ecotec 170 hp with VVT, not the supercharged one. then take the remaining 2 or 3 grand and turbo it :thumb: you'd blow away any supercharged cobalt.....that's what i'd do at least
Edit: wait i just looked it up....171hp!

go with the SRT-4 or the scion tc. Both very nice cars but I would stay domestic.

Test drove, tC. Not going to go with this car. like the look of it but nothing I would buy.
Think i'm going to go with Honda Accord Coupe.
SRT-4 - not a big fan of Dodge Neon.

I test drove a neon before I bought the ho. way too stiff on the steering. Seats were comfortable though.
As long as you don't change the look of it (aside from the potential wheels/springs/tint), a Honda will do you good. Maintains resale value, and they're reliable. :thumb:

using edmunds.com for car prices (not sure how reliable, but it's another angle) with editors/consumer ratings
2005 Honda Civic (Sedan) $13,260 - $21,760 8.0/9.2
2005 Mazda 3 $13,680 - $18,685 8.4/9.2
2005 Ford Focus $13,465 - $16,095 7.7/8.8
2005 Honda Civic (coupe/hatchback) $13,660 - $19,570 8.0/9.2
2005 VW Golf $15,830 - $16,705 7.0/9.2
That's just with brand new cars from 2005. And I only picked out cars from the "top # recommended" lists and had a starting pricetag under $20k. I didn't see the Cobalt on these lists, though it is on the site when you click the "See all new models for 2005" link.

Tiburon

Tiburon GT is a lot slower than it should be  Better choice would be the Base Tiburon with the 2.0 Liter and get a Turbo and smoke the GT. There is also the choice of the Elantra like mine with the 2.0 liter. Slap a Turbo on a Elantra and your looking at 200+WHP for less than 16,000 but a instanty destroyed 100,000 Mile warrantee.
I would get the SRT-4 with the ACR option. If you do any kind of Auto Cross the SRT-4 ACR is a leathal combination, but it has a very rough ride because of its race style suspension. It could be the last year for it, because there not making the Neon any more but I havent heard anything about them stopping production of the SRT-4.

Thanks for everything. But I went with the 05' Accord Ex Coupe. It was sold to me below invoice price and with my trade in a few dollars down. Woked out a pretty good deal. Will post pictures later.
Thanks
