Hey my name is Ryan im 16 years old. Pretty into cars... mostly luxury. My mom drives a 2003 Mercedes SL500 and my Dad drives a 2004 Cadillac STS. :pimp: Both really sweet cars and I end up with an Alero :thumbsdown: . My parents bought it for me cuz its pretty easy on gas and its "safe". Basically they know im not gonna go around showing off and alero like i would if i were driving my their cars :heehee: . Ha ha these faces are great.I guess i joined this site to see what cool things you could do to an alero. If i could have any car right now it would be between a Bentley GT Continental or a Mercedes McLaren.

ok, well welcome to the site, there is alot you can do to an alero, i love mine people always ask me what it is because it is debadged, and the holypoops i get when i tell them its an alero are great.

I can tell you don't like your car very much, but when I turned 16, I had to buy my own bus tokens. My point is be happy you got your own car at 16

Welcome.......ya if you do enough to your alero you will end up liking it a lot. Than once it's modded, like everyones saying, they won't even know what kind of car it is....

if i'da had my alero as a first car i woulda been plenty happy. theres lots you can do, from free to cheap to expensive mods, depends on your cash flow and your tastes.

:wave: hey, welcome to aleromod. The alero is my first car, im 17, and believe me, you will love it if you dont already. My parents have a Dodge Ram 1500 8 ft bed and a Suburban, so I am really grateful i can drive my car and not those behemoths.

Wassup i'm also new to the site. All i can say is save some money and fix up your alero, and you will like it alot. They have A LOT of potential. The best thing is they aren't expected to win any shows or races which makes them "underdogs". It's pretty great when you smoke a guy in an rsx that talks crap about your alero (personal experience) anyways see what you can do with it.

You will end up liking your car... the first show I went to (and my car was basically stock) I won second place in the Domestic Car category. I got beat out by a Lingenfelter Corvette (but that was okay). I beat out lots of Mustangs and other cars. It is pretty funny to have people compliment your car and then to watch their reactions when you tell them that it is an Oldsmobile. :)
