I ordered that flip flop trunk kit(big dumb idea) about 3 months ago and never put it on because I couldnt see how, but I have the kit and figure why not could anyone create a how-to or show me the right direction thanks

I did it to my alero and it goes real well with my trunk set up at shows

yea I know its dumb but I already have all the stuff and it feels dumb just sittin in my room collecting dust, primetime how did you do it cause when i went to do it, it looked like the actual support bars go under a cover and I wasnt sure if you could get under it or if you install on top of it, Im stumped

here's what i'm thinking. cut the track that the thing slides into so that it is like a U shape. take out the back bolt, cut the support down a little bit past the front bolt, and voila. you should be able to put the back bolt in for regular use, and take it out for the flip flop. seems too easy to me. i think i might do it.

and then the second you cut a little to far the back of your trunk stays up and your screwed when it rains....truest me its a bad idea unlesss your a show car.
