I have had nothing but bad luck with my alero now there is a squeaking noise that is coming from the front end whenever it goes over bumps. Has this happened to anyone? It sounds like it is coming from the middle or somehing. Please help!!

Mine does it also, but I don't know what it is either?

May just need struts. If it's cold, the oild inside the strut may be frozen.

Push down hard over each wheel. When you let go, the car should only bounce once. If it bounces like half a bounce on the second time, that's ok to.

If you have tower braces, it could be that too

My front and back suspension squeaks as well especialy when I am turning. I went to the dealer and ofcoure it is not on warranty. He told me that my sway bar bushings and some other components have to be lubricated. I went to a local shop and told them that I want my bushings lubricataed, all they did was looked at me funny and said "what???". It is at the point where I have to turn up my radio so that I don't hear the damn thing. I got really bad model of alero as well, must have been like midnight production run or something. Today my driver seat broke, the springs are poping out of the back of the seat right through the material. Ofcourse no warranty coverage either, my car has over 60,000KM so they don't care. Too bad because I really like the car, it has a lot of potential and is quite unique. I am at a point where I don't know if I should save up and buy a rice rocket, or keep this one and keep fixing it up. I better finish now because I am way off topic.
