And my sch up to March 31 is as follows

Feb 26- test and tune the Delta

Mar 4- Use the Alero to beat up the ricers

Mar 12- Start points with the Delta

Mar 19- If I can't make Mar 4, take the Alero and beat up the ricers

Mar 26- 2nd points day staring the Delta

:smokin:

I'm very excited :yahoo:

Hey man not to rain on your parade, but you must be racing some crappy ricers.

Have you seen the 510hp prelude, i hate preludes but thats pretty great.
I've also seen a civic, with somethin like 400hp. I know most aleros cant compete

You must be n/a

I'd say a stock alero would dominate a stock ricer for sure (minus the rsx/eclipse/civic si/most new ricers)

ricers by definition have little more than a fart can BIG SPOILERS and the like...nothing more so the delta should take the slow ones.

These are NOT heads-up classes, dude. This is ET Bracket Racing with handicaps. Give me a 510hp prelude and I'll beat him just as easily as I'll beat a 140hp prelude. It's all handicaps off the tree with dial-ins, reation times, and red lights/break-outs. For more info go to: http://www.nhra.com/basics/#et

Sure you can get high hp from a Jap motor but so can you from an American motor. If you want to argue that point set up another thread.

Got my racer cards for the new season and RP is now down to 11 points races!!!!!! :pissed: WTF?!?!?!? It used to be 16 races, then it went down to 14 races, then 13, then 12 the past few seasons, and now 11. The final points race has also ALWAYS been in September but now our season ends in August. WTF?!?!?!? I know they want to take advantage of all the ricer money that's now out there but this is ridiculous!

I was there today. All ricers

Yes the Delta was super slow, but it's cool. I lined up with one. He had a .810 r/t to my .070 r/t and spun his wheels past the 60 foot mark.

If he didn't spin that much, he would have run a lot better.

It was very cold and windy today too

Nice RT for your 1st day out after the winter!

There was no way I was going to spend a cold blustery day sitting at the track if I didn't have to.
