Just recently i lost both low beam headlights, I've been using Xeon Blue Lights in the car since i bought it. They didn't seem to last very long, maybe 6 months.

Anyways, I went to the dealership and thought it would be a bulb change... they informed me that the sockets were burnt out, both of them. Chared, like the hotdogs you forgot about on the BBQ.

They promptly blamed the aftermarket bulbs i was using..... Suprize.

Has anyone heard of this problem. Cause the sockets apparently are part of the headlight assembly, Now i got to change both of them.... My pretty blue cleared headlights will be no more... :Noooo:

yeah, the power rating on "xenon bulbs" is too high for our factory harness. that's why they burnt up. any time researching would have told you it wasn't a good idea.

def bulbs, if you want higher wattage bulbs get a higher watt rated harness to handle it.
