Remove Seat Brackets?

Does anyone know how remove the seat brackets from the seat? To me it looks like you have to remove the fabric and padding to get to the bolts and that seems like a lot of work.

The front seats. I got them off though. You do have to pull the fabric and cushion up. It's a pain, but that's GM for ya.

Good news. Aftermarket passenger seat bolts right up to the stock bracket. Hopefully the drivers side will do the same.

R1 seats, but it is a real snug fit next to the center console.

how much were those seats, and how comfy are they?

i'm kinda researching those... i want some.. but want to have them comfortable...

(and not have to pay out my ass for them...)

I think I paid around $300 for them used. These are extremely comfortable as well. You actually sit down in the chair, not on top of it like the stock seats.
