do you plan on just changing the muffler and adding tips, or do you plan on doing full exhaust? Doing the "just the muffler" route, you're looking at a total of about $500 (give or take, parts and labor.) figure about $115 for the muffler, then there's gonna be new piping from your stock pipes to the muffler and piping from the muffler to the tips, so figure about another $100 on the pipes and anywhere from $10-$150 on tips. It really depends on your taste on that part, and the rest is in labor costs. Start shopping around on the labor costs before you even buy the muffler.

will do, i thought that i would have been able to hook teh flowmaster up to the stock piping if i got the right size though was i wrong about that or is it a fitting problem?

yes you can connect it to stock pipe but you have to have a custom bend put in to fit the flow.

sorry it's a bit offtopic but if you get a header system that comes with highflow cats does it include pipes out the back? or is that seperate?
