Can anyone tell me how to flush my coolant out. Is there a Bolt on the Radiator? I just realized I put the wrong coolant in and now from what I have read so far it has probably turned to gel.

Also looks like I am starting to see a gel substance under my oil cap. I have a 2001 with 82,000 miles. Any suggestions .

thanks,
Ben

What motor do you have? If it is the 3400, then you probably have the lower intake manifold leak. I think I have it too, just haven't had time to do anything about it yet.

As far as the coolant, if I were you, I would take it to a pro asap, as a complete flush will be necessary to get ALL of the gunk out. I wouldn't do it myself if I were you.

I have the 3400. This sucks. The last thing I need is a 700 Intake manifold gasket replacement. Where would I look to see this leak? Below the actual intake I would guess.

Yea, you may or may not even see signs of the leak on the outside. It seems to be the concensus of the group that if you bitch and moan to the right people, GM will cover around half of it.

I have a what olds calls a "concern" in with them. I will post back when I have some new info.

Thanks,
