Changed From Idiot Light To Gage.

I mounted pillar gages and I changed from my oil pressure idiot light to a gage. My question is what size is the threading on the oil pressure sending unit. I can't seem to find a proper compression fitting so I can run my oil line. ANyone else have this probelm? Let me know. :beerchug: :lol2: :pissed:

what motor?

most cases it will be 1/8npt or 1/4npt.

2.2 Ecotech, sending unit is behind starter...what a PITA!!

lol no it was pretty easy........and u did get the electronic gauge right? and not the mechanical, it takes a big socket to get off the original sending unit, once u get it off screw the other one in, i used some teflon tape if i remember correctly.......wired it up, worked out perfectly

I have the mechanical gage...the electrical gage sounds like a much better idea, I'm going with that.
