Painted Bezels

Since Im going to be taking my headlights I might as well paint the bezels too, just to give it a little sport look. Has anyone done this and if so, will it affect the reflection and/or brightness of my headlights?

Pending on the color and the color of your car, it would look good

it will not have any effect on the headlights or highbeams. If you paint the entire chrome bezel piece, it WILL reduce the brightness of your turn signals...unless you have a silver, white or some other really light color. Dark colors will kill the brightness of the turnsignals in daytime driving.

BUT: you can mask off the socket portion so you just paint the outside border in that area and you will NOT lose brightness.
