Is it worth buying it? How do you tell how much octane you have? Does it bring down your gas miledge ? How affective would it be for an automatic. Im sorry if this is a repost.

Yes it is worth it. I bought it from PFYC. In fact, I asked PFYC serveral times to offer one fro the Alero.
Bought it, in for almost a year.
Must at least 91 octane, so you will be using the expensive stuff. MPG is the same. Helps auto tranny shift better :thumb:

The gas price difference is not a big deal. ALot of people steer away from DHP becuase of it and thats becuase they cant do simple math. At most it will cost you $1.50 more per full tank. Not so bad uh?
I have had mine for 2 years now. Its the best mod i have ever done. Thats becuase before i got it i had, headers, highflow cat, SLP cat-back, CAI and low t-stat. I put in DHP and it litteraly made the most of those mods for me.
Its worth every penny.

Did you even read my post?
Do the math
IT WILL NOT COST YOU MORE THAN $1.50 MORE A FULL TANK THAN WHAT YOU PAY NOW FOR A FULL TANK.
Most people can affored $1.50 more a full tank, if you cant afford 150 more pennys then you need to find a better job.

HUH price difference here is $.2/gallon * 13 gallons = $2.6/fillup (not $1.50) * (~365/5 fillups/yr) = $189.8 /year. Must be nice living where premium is only 10 cents more per gallon :(

the funny thing about this PCM is that they "tested" it with 91 octane. about 1 in 10 gas stations have 91 octane around here. usually it goes:
87 regular
89 plus
93 premium

Dark Fuscia...
Good luck modding though... although, I wouldn't go with the blue underlighting though... just to match the colour of the car, maybe a purple?

It all boils down to premium... It just depends on your altitude. For instance, up here, premium is 91... at sea level it may be 93.
