hey everybody i was wondering if anybody knows if these Infinity 50.7cs component speakers will fit in the front doors? if they dont fit with just the plain adapter ring, then what ways can i get a set of 5 1/4" components to fit and whats the maximum mounting depth that would be allowed for any type of speaker??

another question i have is does anybody have any idea if these Infinity Kappa 693.7i 6x9s will be able to fit in the rear deck?

any help would be great, cuz i wanna get my new speakers bought and put in sometime soon!!

yeah those 6x9s should fit

i dont think theres anyway, barring cutting out a hole in order to fit 5.25's in the front door. you could put them in the rear deck though

why not go with the infinity 6412 cfp's or 462.7's

another option is eclipse. I have eclipse 4x6's and 6x9s...sound incredibly sharp. not a ton of bass but thats not what i wanted from them considering i have 2 infinity 10's in the trunk. great bass and SQ through the whole system. Just gotta get a pair of Polk tweets now

i could of swore that i remember seeing someone posting about finding a 5 1/4 component speaker set that fit into the doors of their Alero... i think it was the fact that they weren't very deep at all, but i dunno

i haven't heard of them, but i might as well ask, does anybody know if any companies out there make a set of 4x6" component systems??

if anybody has 5 1/4's in your front doors or if you know of anybody that does, please let me know, thanks

alot of companies make 4x6's

-eclipse, infinity, boston acoustic, audiobahn, pioneer etc..

why dont you go to crutchfield.com and take a look around.

may i ask why you are so interested in the 5 1/4's?

you might be able to make a plate that goes in the stock location then put a different size speaker in

i used some plates in the back. they were for a 6.5 anda tweeter. i would assume that they make a setup that is like that for the 4x6's up front. me, i have pioneer 3-way 4x6's up front that sound better than a lot of 6.5 3-ways. good luck man.

I have Boston 5 1/4 in the front. Had to make a litltle cutting to make them fit. Not lot though. Depth wise there is no problem.

what is the maximum mounting depth we can go with, for any type of speaker? both front and back?
