well guys after our hurricane fiasco here in sunny so.fla....

my cars paint was pretty messed up
so i got a new paint job.

anywho.
Black Paint with a beautiful clear coat btw...
well i waited a week and a half. he said it would be done on the 2nd day he got it...
BULLCRAP.

:( so i get my baby back and swirl marks GALORE.
not only were there more scratch then i left him with.. but the buffer got something on it and screwed up the paint job with tons and tons of swirly marks on it :(

i got the pinstripes removed and replaced.... there a nice silver like the aleromod decal silver. <3

sticks out beautifully

but any advice on what i can do!?
:( about these swirl marks!?

i posted the products i live by in the product review. Poor Boy Polishes are the shiznit. Same with Ardex. These are true polishes (have to be applied with a high speed buffer). Commercial grade stuff, not something you can just walk into pep boys and pick up.

didn't you say you got it back with swirls? send it back then and have him fix it

yeah that's what i would do... there's no reason you should have to do anything if he's the one that F'ed it up... take it back... smash his face in it and tell him to fix it

If the whole car got repainted then there is no reason it should have swirl marks... make the shop fix it for free.

agreed. you shouldn't have to do more work to make it look good immediately after getting it back.

take it in and talk to whose in charge.

if they give you any grief, shout the word "supervisor" or "manager" you'll be surprised how fast ppl will jump when it comes to dealing with customers when they hear that. :pissed:

ya, no reason for you to fix the body shops mistake. Brand new paint job should equal no swirls.

well swirl marks are caused by buffing incorrectly
seacond take it back and tell them to buff it again
thrid why would you have the car repainted all thats doin is adding more material to what is on there already not a good thing to do at all
are they deep scratches?? or just a poopty buffing job
my adive from a body man take it back and let them buff is again tell them to use new pads

the car was repainted and had body work done because after the hurricane she was a complete mess. scratches everywere.

so i got her repainted and there are still spots that he didnt cover with the clear coat, and apperently a rock got caught in buffer and i have deep scratches in the paint along with horrible horrible swirls :(

she already did you hornball and we have already established that she's a very pretty young lady.

Sorry to hear about those fools messing up your car. Make sure you dont spend another penny having them fix it. They screwed it up and they should make it right. Better Business Bereau usually gets them running pretty quick too... Dont be afraid to break out the big dogs to get what you want..
