I'm Getting 15%

I have a 9:30a appointment on Saturday, and I am so frickin excited to get it on. I'm getting it done for 150, so I am getting a good price too. Has lifetime warranty on tint and install, and it is being done by a professional shop here in town that does some dealer work too. I will post up pics on Saturday or Monday. I was originally thinking 5%, but I think that is way to dark at night....particularly when you are backing up in a dark parking lot. I will post it up in my showcase thread...but I had to post here as I am so frickin excited!!!

VERY TRUE, when the sun is baring down right into the windshield, my 20, looks like 35 from close up, but when u see a 5% roll by yer like DEAM thats illegal...

Yeah, I also chose it to help avoid getting a bad rep with the police...I have seen them tell people to scrape it off of their damn windows!!!

hope you dont get a ticket for that tint. just sucks around here because alot of people i know had to remove their tints. 15 should be ok..usually 20 or less they crack down but thats around here anyway. i dunno what they have for law inforcement in idaho

It really depends on if the cop is a dick or not or even more so if they are bored or not. If you go to www.streetbliss.bravehost.com and check out our website, look at the pictures of the streetbliss sticker...it is super low on the window and even clear, and one of out members got pulled over for it...

i have 15% all the way around and i like it. if you can i would get 5% on the back windows and 15% on the front two.

I was also wondering your opinions on visor strips. Should I get a red vinyl strip or get a 5% strip??? What will look better???

I have 20 % and I love it, not to dark not to light. My friend has 5% and I hate it. Its cool for during the day but night time its a death/accident trap.

5% is pretty cool. it does make it hard to see at night tho.
I originally did 20 % but wasn't dark enough for me so i did them over, but instead of removing the 20% and applying new tint i added 5%over that. It does take some time getting used to but you learn to adjust. Looks great tho during tha day and at night...when i learn how to post pics on here i'll show you what it looks like.

all i can say is be cautious of your towns cops. if you live in an area where cops have nuttin' better to do then harrass random people...you'll get stopped...

i still love my 2.5 i got in trouble for it once and the asshole cop took his knife and ripped it a little bit and i got a ticket i went to cort over it and got it dismissed and then had it retinted to the 2.5 percent

same thing happened to a jetta in town for 3.5% ripped it off. i say if you wanna look BA at day and night go with the limo level, if you wanna keep it legal go 15 or 20, its as simple as that.

I've got the visor strip at 15% as well as all the windows at 15. The strip goes a couple inches below the AS1 line on the sides but I have never had a problem with cops or anything. It only really matters if you like it or not. It doesn't matter what we think.

I think that a visor strip would be alright. I just think that you should leave as is. I think your car looks really clean right now and shouldn't mess with it like putting a visor strip on it. if you do a visor strip, do a black one or tint across the top not red!!!!
