My brotherlaw changed the rear brakes on my alero and somehow managed to get it to fall off the jack and bending the poop out of this piece. I'm thinking it's called a stabilizer bar. Any ideas?

ok last question. How can I tell if I've got sport suspension. I bought the car used about 3 years ago. It's a 2.4 I4, auto, cloth seats, traction control & abs, mirrors are body color, and aluminum 15" wheels not polished that came with touring tires. I'm thinking it's a GL2

Sounds like You have a stock suspension but the dealer can tell by the Vin #

Guess I'll have to take it off an head to the junkyard and match it up. I figure dealers are only a place to buy cars. Last time I was at my dealer to get a repair estimate they tried to sell me a new car and wouldn't take no for an answer. I literally had to run away from that place.
