Rear Speakers

I've been having problems with my rear speakers not working intermittently, some times they work, some times they don't. I've rewired my cd player and everything still can't figure out why they go off and on. It sounds like it could be an electrical problem, any ideas? Or has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Have you pulled the back dash apart and looked at the connections? Maybe you need to cut them back a litle and reconnect them. I replaced my rear speaker and its not that hard to get to those.

are you using amps to power them? is there a sub present? does it happen when you hit a bump? maybe the subs knocking the conection off or the wire might be grounding out on the metal around the 6x9's, check 6x9 conections.

or did u check the connection into the rear speakers
