I got the handle off of the two rods fine... but now i odn't know how to take apart everything there so i can paint it... can anyone tell me how to take it all apart? thanks

bump... anyone at all? this is kind of urgent cuz i need to paint the damn door handle before i can put either of my door panels back on... if anyone has any idea, please let me know, thanks

If you just spray painting it just leave it together, just sand it and paint it, just make sure you hold the back side and pull and the little lever on the back side so you can get behind the handle. This is what I did.

yeah but i'm two toning it... so it'll make more sense to have it all apart...

Ive honestly never taken one apart. Maybe just mask off what you want then switch it up when your done painting and its all dry.

idk, i think that would be a real pita... i just figured that it could come apart fairly easily, and it would make it look a helluva lot better if i could paint each piece seperately

You can't separate the interior door handle. You need to paint the first section, then tape it off, and paint the 2nd color where u want it to be. Then remove the tape from first color, and clear the whole thing.
