I saw this and thought wow freakin awesome, looks like a simple job so maybe I can do it myself. Anyone have any knowldege of this? also mine is red.

just vinyl wrapped on the tails then cut out whatever design u want.

gonna look goofy though if your car is maintly stock n my opinion

Yeah as far as tails go... you cant go wrong with Anderbra's work.. while saving up for black led tails from him... i decided to paint the tails on my alero... lucky for me I have a friend who works at a gm salvage yard/ parts place which has twelve aleros on site with whatever I need... so in short, i got some other tails and painted them and still have the stockers sittin around... the paint was hard to find but ended up getting some mixed up and put in a can... i drew the design using a ruler and french curve.. they came out good... but if u dont want a permanent mod... either use vinyl or get other tails... good luck man with your whip!
