Gauge Problem

I have had this problem since i recently took my car to bestbuy for some speaker problem (another issue).
The lights in my gauges don't work...all the warning lights and the transmission lights and all that works but like the l.e.d.'s behind the speedo and such don't work. the guy at best buy was checking for a grounding problem and took out the center console and all that. i checked for blown fuse but couldn't find any.

if anyone has any idea what the problem might be or how to fix it i'd really appriciate it.
