Hankook Ventus HRII H405

Falken Ziex ZE-512

Kumho Ecsta SPT

Kumho Ecsta ASX

Ecsta Supra 712

Nitto NT 450

kinda the ones I'm looking at from discount tires

I want something that will do well in wet conditions as well as dry... snow? not sure about, but if any of these do well in both traction during the summer and still do well with rain and a few colder days... so if any of you guys have had first hand experience with these tires give me some input, I've checked the tire ratings, and well.. they are a little helpful, but I wanted some input on all weather ratings.

i have the kumho 712's and they have been great so far. not too fond of nitto and my fam used to have an acura with hankook's that sucked.

ill tell you what though..no all season or high perf. tire will do well in the snow. only thing that performs in the snow is a snow tire. if you are only going to be driving in minimal snow and still want amazing performance overall check out the pirelli p zero nero's. my dad has them on his audi s4 and they are very very nice and not too bad price-wise.

yeah I figured,.....I will probably dish out the $$ the end of this summer to have some real good winter tires. that would be the smartest.

winter tires=not worth the money over all-season tires

you're out of your mind rubered. ive yet to see an all season tire that can outperform a snow tire in the winter. even the pirellis which are arguably the best for winter driving as an all season do not even come close to a good set of snows..like some dunlop m2's

that is absolutely retarded...all season's suck in 2" of snow...i'd rather drive on 75% worn out winter tires then brand new all season's

I know they are not on there but I have had excellent luck with my Federal 595SS. They are reasonably priced, handle great. I could still get around decent in the snow, and they are good in the wet also.

Also not on the list is the Continental ContiExtremeContact. These things are a GREAT mix of performance for all 4 seasons! read the reviews on the tirerack website! My dad has them on his Q45 and i will be getting them for the Alero on tuesday.

thanks for the input, after some studying...i've decided to go with the Kuhmo ASX tires.. they actually rated better than the continentals and they're cheaper

I have Falken GR-B 451's which are the ones that replaced the Ziex 512's when they got discontinued,

I absolutly love the 451's...They are all around very good; They even have good wet traction...(this coming from a person that has drove through the monsoon season in arizona)...

Just giving you more info since some of your choices were not covered by other people.

Only reason I didn't cover the Ziex 512's is because the were discontinued and will only get harder to find!

Hope this helps...
