LOWER IT. You have rims already. Just lower it.
Springs = $150-$300 depending on brand
Labor = free if you have the right tools. (see the how-to thread)

I would say the DVD would be cool, but what unit would you go with? That would most definitely affect my answer!

Hey Menace, aren't intrax lower than eibach anyway cuz thats what i was looking at intrax for when i do buy springs because i thought they were a little lower
Menace
04-17-2006, 02:21 PM
Nope intrax is 1.75 and eibach is 2.5 I belive correct me if im wrong but I know eibach is much lower and stiffer ride then intrax

f*** lowering springs, bag it.

well the info on ebay is confusing...for eibach it is front: 1.4 back: 1.0
intrax is front: -1.8 back: -1.7
so is the eibach how far it will be off the ground and intrax how far it is lowered, cuz thats what gets me
P.S. I would go for the drop too :thumb:

get springs

easy to do, just pick the one you want the least, then you're sure to get both as soon as you can. Personally, I'd do the springs, since you can get Drop-Zone springs for $85 shipped per set of 4 at a 1.5-2" drop. I have never had them, but a buddy does on his 'bu and he loves em.

i have the eibachs...its like 1.25 drop...looks perfect though because the drop is even. with other companies (namely sprint) the backend sits on the back tires haha...it just looks like the back end is sagging. supposed to be higher in the back than in the front.
i also chose eibach because they were the most reputable company.

where can i get dropzones???
BlackJack

as of 3 months ago, they were on ebay, and that was the seller's company name. I've only seen one seller on there now that has springs for a Honda Civic. Email the seller and find out if they still have some for the Alero/Grand Am/Malibu.

ok, checked it out, and there's at least 3 different brands that various people are offering with a "buy it now" prices under $100.
Intrax, Sprint, CM, etc. I can't find the previous DropZone springs, maybe they're discontinued for our N-body's.

Id go with Sprint springs they lowered my olds 2 inches all around, Im pretty satisfied with it actually, it looks just right, not to high not to low. Well if u got money, Id go with bags, thatd be pimp, or sum good custom made coilovers, thats what I wanna do next after I do this ecotec swap of mine
PS- Dont cut ur stock springs! lol I did and had them on for a whole year. F**KED up everything! mostly my front shocks, tie rods and brake rotors. If u want to cut ur springs only have them on for LESS THAN A MONTH before anything bad happens, its just a temporary fix not for a full year, believe me on this one

ehh.. I don't like those fold-out things.. I like the double-din units much better. seems like they'd be more durable.
