I am wanting to make a custom gauge cluster color.. but the plastic peice is like adhesived on there.. but i thought it would be like the head lights with a a hair drier but its not ..

im confused to what you are actually trying to take off. the front clear and black piece clips on, along with the back black piece also clips on. If you are trying to put new lights in all you have to do is pull the bulbs and break the bulbs out, it actually sucks pretty bad. im workin on some replacement bulbs and holder along with a few other items for aleros.
if you're talking about painting the black part of the clear front piece, the clear part is PLASTIC WELDED on, meaning you'd have to take a dremel with a cutting wheel and CAREFULLY cut it off. have fun
