Its in the actual face which I believe is plastic. I tried some plastic repair/polish and it got the tiny ones out but I have a few big scratches right into the face. Any suggestions?

No not getting a new headunit I love this thing and i was hella exspensive. Its just the front screen it works fine and you can see fine its just those 2 scratches that piss me off.

That 3000 grit wont scratch up the surface more ? I also have a run mark on my tinted taillight will the 3000 grit also workon that without it looking trashy?

yes, wetsanding with 3000 grit will make the whole face dull, thats why you will need to buff and polish it.

theres a how to on it. i'd proly take it to 3000 myself.

on the tinted tail part, i would think you'd have to remove all the tint and redo them.
