trunk switch bezel

i know they arent perfect but without the help of anybody else, i think i did alright. I also did the hazard light bezel, too. The reason i did black is cuz #1 thats the exterior color, and #2 i like the more subtle changes that you have take the time to appreciate, but thats just me

EDIT: i hosted them on imagestation and it seems to work now

haha ok mine did that the 1st week it was because of the primer i used kbut yeah i finished my car yesterday. All black inside with black and silver sued but for my front dash i was a little lazy i took everything out of it, but i did not take the dash out i just taped uo the window and fuse boxes and painted it put 3 coats on and it looks great and it covers all the places u can see and saved me a LOT OF TIME.

What kinda primer did you you? I dindn't you any. Also what kinda paint did you use?

I think it's just like a keychain thing he's got there.. lol Man, I would so love to do something like that to my car, but I would probably mess it up if I did it myself.... I need to find some good car modding people down in Florida when I get there that will help me. lol

Actually, the "ball of tape" sort of looks like an internal siren for an aftermarket alarm and i think it is hanging from its wire harness...

...I would like to change my color scheme to but I just don't wnat to f*** things up! I wanna go with black/silver/blue

LMAO :emotlol:

Actually that ball of electrical tape what my cruise controls. After I put in the aftermarket steering wheel I lost my controls so I just tempararily taped them together and ran them out the opening at the bottom of the steering wheel there. Now i have them run to 3 momentary push button switches in my door.

Its really not as hard as everybody thinks in my opinion, time consuming yes but not really hard. As for messing it up, theirs only one way to learn. When I painted my interiour the first peice i did was the cover for the glove box (which i had to redo 3 times cuz i messed it up) but after that everything went pretty good.

I removed the entire interiour but you can just tape things off to if you don't mind spraying paint inside the car and I used dupont vynel resin paint which i bought in quart cans and used a paintgun to spray it on but you can get raddle cans with pretty much the same thing in them and use those and ive seen some cars done that way and they look great.

Just start with a small inconspicuous peice, like the trim around the release for the trunk or the coat hangers above the rear windows, and a rattle can and start painting. I seems kinda daunting but once you get started and get some practice it is really pretty easy I think.
