I already asked someone, but i just want to make sure with everyone that this is the right thing to do.

Im going to be buying tint paint for my taillights on ebay and i was wondering do i have to take apart my taillights and paint the inside of the light or just paint the outside of it........cause i know the tailllights are sealed and i dont wanna f*** them up, but if its stupid to do it on the outside then i wont, just wondering. Thank you for your time....

Did mine on the outside of the lens, then clear coat on top. Worked fine and looks good.

good luck getting them apart to do the insides, just do the outside then wetsand and clearcoat. They look plenty good and shiny.

outside, or just use window tint on the outside. easy and reversible.

no you arent, cause ull never get the lense off without messing it up a little. the tails are NOT like the headlights. the tails are plastic welded.

lol.

i dont know, i like the two toned, well better than red/orange. but all smoked would have been better.

either way, the link was for the DIY, not the 'rado tail pics ;)

I tinted mine was easy as hell:

1. take out tails
2. wash off tails
3. wet sand tails
4. wash tail lights again
5. spray tint light coats, more coats darker it gets
6. spray clear coat

I like it when people use the seran wrap and cut it to show the deflectors.
