I decided on getting the Grand AM GT SLP dual quad tip exhaust system for my ho. There is a guy that deals with SLP on the other side of town and quoted me $400 for the system or $375 cash. Is this a good deal? Or is there a better place to go. I went to Cole muffler and they gave me an estimate of $600 :blink: for a Magniflow Catback system. I think thats pricy but I definitely think the SLP is the way to go.

getting the OEM GAGT exhaust is an upgrade, but not the best you can get. But $375 is a good price to get it installed.

Yah the slp is an amazing good deal but that magnaflow is a trash deal, magnaflow set is like 100 bucks to buy that means there charging you like 500 dollars for the install.....

you could try borla, but slp is basically the same thing....

SLP is $481 shipped, I still remember what it cost me. I have the GA style on mine and it sounds and looks cool :cool: I bought mine directly from the company in Tom's River, NJ

$375 is a hell of a deal for an SLP, jump on it!

I just bought a Grand AM GT SLP Exhaust from Summit Racing for $425 after doing about three hours of extensive searching for the best price online; so yeah, $375 is excellent!!! :thumb:

the magnaflow deal is a ripoff..i have a magnaflow custom cat back system and i was charged about 425. not bad for pipes, muffler, and tips plus install

Yeah both of my friends got SLP exahust systems from the same guy for their mustangs. The name of his store is New Era Performence. He gets everything straight from the factory and I will find out if he has a website.

Borla = 2.25", has a resonator, not very loud and damn near $700.
SLP= 2.5", has no resonator, very loud and has no resonator and around $400.

Same thing? Far from it. Only thing thats the same about the 2 is they both are mandrel bent.
